Walter was born and raised in Arkansas, and started writing poetry while in high school. He lives in Little Rock with his wife and stepdaughters. He travels the state extensively, thanks to his job with a local billiard table distributor. He attended Little Rock public schools, and then the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
This is Walter's first venture into the world of publishing, and he hopes all who read his poem enjoys it.
